Cam 1 is back to the old camera.
Thanks for the input.
We're going to try this new camera on Cam2.
We might get some nice "night-vision" shots of the kitties if we're lucky.
The lens on this new camera is a little strange, so the image can appear a little distorted.
Please let us know what you think of the "new Cam2".

LOL...yay!! I love new-old cam1 again! Before it was more like "window-cam", however I think the new camera now serves awesomely as cam2, especially since we can now view the lower tier! nice job-- thanks Jim!

I said the same thing when Jim switched them. Makes much more sense to have it upstairs. Also, the camera did catch Domino sleeping there during the night. I get up at 5am and I found the evidence in the history. I saved the image and will likely make it an announcement on the front page.
Now if I could just get our avatars to display in the forum posts!

I got the spam greatly reduced with the help of a couple modules. They are still trying and have been successful just a couple times. However, each spam that gets through gets reported to a anti-spam service I'm using and then promptly deleted. So, the service should only get/better stronger if I along with other spam victims keep doing that.
Funny thing is, none of my other sites attract spam like this one.

"semi" bad news. The "new" camera started giving me problems on cam2 (corrupted images and such). I've put the old cam2 cam back into service.
The camera does work (tried it on my laptop), but it just doesn't seem to want to work when I need it.
Yes, it is a new camera that should still show an image even when it's dark. I'm not sure how much I like it because the image doesn't seem as sharp.
